tate-owned builder PT Adhi Karya has officially started the construction of the first tower of its apartment and commercial complex Royal Sentul Park in Sentul, West Java, following a groundbreaking ceremony on Saturday.
The Royal Sentul Park is part of LRT City, a residential and commercial area that will be integrated with the Light Rapid Transit (LRT) systems. The two projects are being developed by Adhi Karya.
“Today we hold the groundbreaking for the first tower of the apartment and also a soft launch for the shopping arcade,” said Amrozi Hamidi, the general manager of the TOD and Hotel division of Adhi Karya, on Saturday, referring to the 23 shop houses that were launched simultaneously.
Nanang Syafrudin Salim, the project manager for Royal Sentul Park, said the first apartment tower would have 33 floors with 1,633 apartment rooms. The firm aims to sell up to 700 apartments by the end of this year and hand over the tower by June 2020.
