apper Iwa K, who recently entered rehabilitation following a run-in with police, will finish his rehab in early November 2017, according to his lawyer, Chris Sam Siwu.
Iwa K was sentenced to six months in prison for drug abuse with the provision of rehabilitation treatment at the Drug Addiction Hospital (RSKO), in Cibubur, East Jakarta.
“Please pray for him,” Chris said as reported by Kompas.com.
Iwa plans to return to work in the music industry once he is released, Chris said while adding that there were already several job offers for his client.
Chris stated that Iwa was ready to re-entertain Indonesian music lovers with new works created by him during his rehabilitation.
“During rehabilitation he has written two or three new songs,” Chris said.
The police arrested Iwa at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, Tangerang, on April 29, when he was about to fly to Makassar, South Sulawesi.
