egendary musician and Nobel laureate Bob Dylan will continue his “Never Ending Tour” with selected dates in Asia, including Singapore, Hong Kong and Japan.
The tour will commence on July 29 in Japan, before stopping on Aug. 4 in Hong Kong and Aug. 6 in Singapore.
The 76-year-old Dylan has performed in Asia before, at Singapore’s Timbre’s Rock and Roots festival in 2011.
Bob Dylan has blazed many trails since the beginning of his folk career in the 1960s, releasing timeless songs such as “Blowin’ in the Wind”, “The Times They Are a-Changin’” and “It Ain’t Me, Babe”.
Celebrated for mixing often inscrutable poetry with thrilling musicianship, Dylan’s productivity is still one of his biggest accomplishments. Last year, he put out his 38th record, the triple-album Triplicate, composed of songs from the Great American Songbook.
In 2016, he was awarded the Nobel Prize for his contributions to literature.
Tickets for the Singapore show will be on sale from Monday at 10 a.m. via apactix.com or SingPost outlets.
