The motorcyclist suffered bruising to his back.
A 13-year-old driving a black minivan on Sunday night hit a motorcyclist on Jl. Kota Bambu Selatan in Palmerah, West Jakarta.
“He was heading from the south. Right in front of a minimart, he hit a motorcycle in front of his car,” said West Jakarta Police traffic unit chief Adj. Sr. Comr. Ganet Sukoco as quoted by kompas.com on Monday.
The teenager was using a car with license plate B 2158 PFH during the incident that took place at 8 p.m. The motorcyclist suffered bruising to his back and was rushed to a hospital. Both of them are students.
As they were underage, the police could not include driving licenses as evidence.
“The front of the car was damaged, while the motorcycle has been damaged beyond repair,” Ganet said. (vla)
