(JP/Nurhayati)Designer Tex Saverio will take part in the upcoming Jakarta Fashion Week 2014 and will exhibit his ready-to-wear collection.
'I'm learning this again from the beginning, the [ready-to-wear collection] is new, and one of the steps I'll take is by taking part in Jakarta Fashion Week,' he said as quoted by tempo.co.
Jakarta Fashion Week 2014 will take place from Oct. 19 to 25 at the Senayan City shopping mall.
He said by taking part in the event he hoped to help elevate Indonesia's name on the global fashion stage.
'We can see the response both from local and international viewers about my products. That way we can have different views on how to improve,' said the designer, whose creations have been worn by Lady Gaga, Kim Kardashian and Jennifer Lawrence.
