AKARTA: Legions of Slank fans will be excited to see the iconic rock band head for busy days next year, as members say plans for a world tour are well under way.
'We will go on a global tour next year,' front man and drummer Bimbim said in Jakarta as quoted by tribunnews.com.
Bimbim declined to discuss details, saying only that it would not be their first time doing such a large-scale tour.
'In 2008, we also went around the world. We played in 15 countries, while releasing an international album,' said Bimbim, who had been at the band's helm throughout its 30 years of existence.
