A fire broke out on the ninth floor of Citywalk Soedirman, an upscale apartment tower in Central Jakarta on Thursday.

The fire reportedly broke out at around 3 p.m.

Twenty-five fire trucks were sent to the scene to extinguish the flames, the Jakarta Disaster Mitigation Agency (BPBD) reported on its twitter handle @BPBDJakarta. “Firefighters have put out the fire,” it said in a tweet.

A short circuit in an electrical panel reportedly caused the fire.
