fire broke out at the Transmigration Department building of the Villages, Disadvantaged Regions and Transmigration Ministry in Kalibata, South Jakarta, but no injuries or fatalities have been reported.
South Jakarta Fire and Rescue Agency head Irwan said the fire started at around 9 a.m.
“We have deployed 20 fire trucks to the location. We’re still trying to extinguish the fire,” Irwan said as quoted by tribunnews.com.
The cause of the fire remains unknown. Authorities are investigating the incident. (wnd/ebf)
