he Korea Tourism Organization’s (KTO) Jakarta office is targeting Indonesian solo travelers seeking to explore South Korea through the #akudankorea (Korea and I) campaign and microsite.
Travelers who do not wish to rely on tour guides can find information about exploring South Korea on their own, including schedules, promotions and airline deals, as well as recommended tourist destination.
According to Antara, several destinations are related to historical sites, popular cosmetics brands, plastic surgery and the shooting locations of some of South Korea’s most-watched drama series.

The microsite also includes videos about the various travel themes the country has to offer, from adventurous to romantic.
Interested travelers can also browse through the experience and photos of other vacationers, one of whom is Indonesian blogger Alexander Thian.
Meanwhile, a photo challenge invites visitors to upload their photos in South Korea according to topics selected by the KTO. One winner will be selected weekly to receive souvenirs, and the chance to win a round-trip ticket to the country. (wir/wng)
