The Asia Pacific Conference for Media, Advertising and Marketing (APMF) has made a return for 2024.
Held from May 1 to 3 at the Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center (BNDCC) in Nusa Dua, Bali, the 10th edition of the APMF took the theme of Make Your Mark, calling on participants to create a living legacy that will resonate for years to come, despite ever-changing industry dynamics and consumer behavior.
"Every individual plays a pivotal role in shaping the industry's future. This theme serves as a call-to-action to unleash their full potential, contribute to the greater good and inspire positive change for the betterment of the industry," said Devi Attamimi, co-chairwoman of the APMF.
The APMF 2024 highlights the dynamics and trends in the marketing, media and communications industries amid technological development such as AI, further solidifying its role as a premier platform for industry players to exchange ideas, insights and innovations to navigate through the increasingly complex challenges of today's business world.
"Over time, the APMF’s role has become increasingly important for leaders and innovators to share insights, as well as define best practices that can inspire the next generation. The APMF is where impactful collaborations are forged and industry legends are made," explained Andi Sadha, chairman of the APMF, during his opening remarks.
More than 1,000 participants from diverse backgrounds and expertise attended this year’s APMF, taking part in activities such as practical learning through the APMF Lab, sharing thought-provoking insights in conference sessions, participating in exciting experiences at the Expo Immersive Playground and building meaningful connections through networking sessions.
Bringing the same enthusiasm, more than 75 speakers echoed the importance of innovating with creative, innovative strategies centered around consumer experiences, including digital anthropologist Brian Solis, BCA deputy president director Armand Hartono, founder of Hakuhodo Kettle Kentaro Kimura and 88Rising chief revenue officer Mike Chuthakieo.
Prior to the conference sessions, speakers from the APMF Lab also equipped participants with practical insights and real-world case studies, including founding partner of FUTUREPROOF TMT Scott Thomson, president director of SMESCO Leonard Theosabrata as well as co-founders of Bapak2ID Nuang2000 and James jan Markus.
