sia’s premier electronic dance music festival ZoukOut will return for the 18th time at Siloso Beach on Sentosa in Singapore on Dec. 1.

According to a statement sent to The Jakarta Post, the show will be headlined by the star duos of Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike (DVLM) and W&W. The former were ranked second on the DJ Mag list of top DJs in the world, with songs that include "Chattahoochee", "Higher Place" featuring Ne-Yo and "Complicated" with David Guetta. ZoukOut 2018 marks their debut performance in Singapore.

Also performing live on the island are W&W, the stage name for Willem van Hanegem and Ward van der Harst. Renowned for their multi-dimensional sound that includes trance, electro house and progressive house influences, the pair are known for hits such as "Mustang" and "Bigfoot".

This year's ZoukOut will be held for one night, as opposed to multiple days as in the past. The statement said the change in schedule was to sharpen focus and deliver a value-driven festival packed with power and memorable experiences.

“The move is part of its strategy to refresh the 18-year-old concept from 2019 onward, with plans to expand the festival ground beyond Siloso Beach to different parts of Singapore,” the statement said.

In addition to the headliners, ZoukOut will present a roster filled with top international, regional and local artists with hits across all genres of dance.

Revelers will be able to buy meals and snacks at a curated food village, watch fireworks, take pictures at installations, stargaze and more.

Super Early Bird and Early Bird tickets are reportedly sold out, while Advanced and Regular tickets starting at S$148 are still available. The festival is also offering bundles for four and standing VIP tickets. (saz/mut)

Editor's Note:

The first version of this article said, "Also performing live for the first time on the island are W&W, the stage name for Willem van Hanegem and Ward van der Harst." It has been corrected that W&W are to perform live in the island, without saying that this is their first time performing live in the island.
