JAKARTA: For many women, high heels are the key to a faboulous, hotter look
AKARTA: For many women, high heels are the key to a faboulous, hotter look. Actress and model Cathy Sharon agrees with this perception, but has confessed she’s no longer a fan of them — after what they caused her.

According to Cathy, high heels have caused her injuries that have led to some permanent pain.
“Ever since I’d worked in the entertainment world [from 2002], I wore high heels. I always used them during photo shoots and even just to hang out at malls,” said the 28-year-old as quoted by indonesiaselebriti.com.
“I always felt that high heels would make me feel confident.”
Cathy, who confessed she loved stilettos, said if she never wear heels less than 12-centimeter high.
“For me, the higher the heels are, the better. That was why I often wore shoes with 18-centimeter heels,” said the elder sister of actress and model Julie Estelle. “Shoes with 12-centimeter heels would be the ‘flattest’ I would ever wear — I wouldn’t use any lower than that,” she added.
However, it all ended after Cathy fell down in high heels for several times, which caused endless pain to her back and shoulders. — JP
