This refers to “The problem with politics”, published in The Jakarta Post, March 10.

When government policy is controlled by socialists who are bent on creating a totalitarian state, nothing that occurs in the course of people’s lives is left untouched.

Crises in economies are created by statists who think that if normal life is made uncomfortable for the masses, that they will gratefully turn over freedoms in exchange for the care of the all powerful government.

Upon receiving this power, the Marxists who have been elected proceed to implement their agenda of state control by emptying the treasury, over regulating, wasting the countries natural resources, acquiring state control over private industry, and creating massive financial debts for other countries.

The result on the economy is devastating and is why there is no investment opportunity for companies let alone the small investor.  The “current climate” will continue to create devastation and chaos until those who have been given the guns are thrown out of office and replaced with those who believe in those truths which are self-evident.

The statists in the US are currently in power. They are being stripped of their power slowly but surely. When they are put

away and their folly has been corrected, prosperity and growth will return. These people have been the architects of the American welfare state for the last 50 years. Their “war on poverty” (government spending) has been going on since the 60’s. Has poverty been reduced? No. It is at the same level or growing.

The government is now paying 35 percent of the American workforces salaries with unemployment checks.

They are being paid not to work with the tax payouts of 65 percent of those who do earn.

Prices are rising and no jobs are being created yet the regime refuses to allow fossil fuel resources to be found and utilized by using the dumb down rhetoric of “green technology”. Lying and trying to convince us all we are facing imminent death from global warming while killing business and wealth creation.

Capital controls are being put into place in every country that has an economy. Capitalism run by communists, Marxists, statists, whatever doesn’t work.

The Chinese are finding this out despite the euphoric reporting of their “booming” economy.

There is a bright side, however. After the dust is settled and swept away, the rest of the world will have a golden standard by which to choose an ideology which has been proven time and again to be hugely successful.
