AKARTA: Jakarta Police chief Insp. Gen. Untung S. Radjab asked SMAN 70 Jakarta state high school to take charge in stopping bullying activities at the school.
“The school must be responsible and should not let such things go on,” Untung said on Sunday, as quoted by tribunnews.com.
Parents of a number of younger students at SMAN 70 recently filed a report to the National Commission for Child Protection, saying their children had been bullied by their seniors.
Untung said the South Jakarta Police had received the report and were currently investigating the case to determine whether or not crimes had been committed.
