party, excluding, however, the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) and National Mandate Party (PAN) in his invitation.

PPP is not relevant to modern Indonesia. It does not embrace all Muslims and Suryadharma’s opinion of Shiite groups will lead to Sunni-Shia conflict as occurs in Iraq, Pakistan and other nations.
History shows that the truly prosperous and democratic nations are those with secular governments.
