ANDUNG: The hoisting of the flags of 106 countries by scouts will mark the 57th anniversary of the Asia Africa Conference (KAA) and the 32nd anniversary of the KAA Museum.
The event will take place around the Merdeka Building in Bandung, West Java.
KAA Museum curator Isman Pasha said that the celebrations would feature various programs from April 18 to 24.
One program is the Kamari-Bihari-Kiwari Tour, which invites members of the public to clean up various historical monuments in the city.
The monument-cleaning event will also include explanations on the history and background of the monuments, starting from the Non-Bloc Movement Monument on Jl. Pajajaran.
“They will also walk to the Pakuan Building, the Indonesia Menggugat Building, the former Banceuy Prison and the Dasasila Bandung Monument,” Isman said.
