T

he West Java administration has delegated security measures for Gedung Sate complex to PT Trisula Satria Perkasa, which includes the gubernatorial office and the legislative council building.

The company was reported to have recruited 105 security personnel to replace those employed as civil servants by the administration. The new security personnel will begin work on July 1.

“Today is the last day we employed our civil servants. They will be replaced by new personnel employed by the company, which won the tender,” administration’s spokesperson Ruddy Gandakusumah said on Friday.

He said Gedung Sate, as a historical heritage site, should be maintained more professionally.

The employment of workers in the support and maintenance division has also been offered to companies through a tender, he said.
