JAKARTA: Singer Andien said that she was not yet ready to sing religious songs.
“I’ve never thought of composing [a religious song]. Not because I’m not religious but for me, it’s a big responsibility,” she said last Friday, as quoted by kompas.com.
Andien said she had to consider several things before composing or performing a religious song.
“It will be a contradiction if I release a religious song but then one day wear something [sexy] like this. If one is ready to commit to releasing something religious then it has to remain that way,” she said.
