even terror suspects were shot dead in separate raids by the National Police'€™s Densus 88 counterterrorism unit on Wednesday, while 17 others were captured alive, a police official says.

'€œTerror suspects killed during the raids were Abu Roban, Bastari, Toni, Bayu alias Ucup, Budi alias Angga, Junet alias Encek and Sarame,'€ said National Police spokesperson Brig.Gen.Boy Rafli Amar in Jakarta on Thursday as quoted by Antara news agency.

'€œThe terrorist suspects were arrested in four locations: Bandung, West Java; Jakarta; and Kebumen and Kendal in Central Java,'€ he added.

The suspects captured alive in Jakarta are Agus Widharto, Agung, Endang, Faisal, alias Boim, and Iman, while Iwan and Puryanto were arrested in Kendal. Four suspects '€“ Budi, Farel, Slamet and Wagiono '€“ were arrested in Kebumen.

Meanwhile, two suspects arrested in a raid in Bandung are Haris Fauzi, alias Jablud, and William Maksum, alias Acum, alias Dadan.

'€œThis group is the remainder of the Abu Omar and Autad Rawa groups. They have confessed that they were collecting money to support the activities of the eastern Indonesian Mujahideen in Poso, Central Sulawesi, led by Autat Rawa and Santoso,'€ said Boy. (asw/ebf)
