Guess what?: Tasya Kamila wants to be a minister

Kapanlagi.com

Singer Tasya Kamila, 22, says that she will fly to the US to complete postgraduate studies in public policy as part of a plan to become a minister in the future.

'€œI'€™ve decided to take a master'€™s degree because I want to be a minister one day,'€ said Tasya, who is popular as a former child singer with hits including '€œLibur Telah Tiba'€ (Holidays are Here) and '€œAku Anak Gembala'€ (I'€™m a Child Sheppard), as quoted by kompas.com.

Tasya said that should her dream come true, she would like to be a minister who is an expert in her field. '€œYou don'€™t want to have a minister that doesn'€™t have a full university education, do you?'€

On her choice of focus, Tasya said that she fell in love with public policy thanks to her current role as an ambassador for the environment and consumers.

'€œI have also just established a foundation that focuses on the environment. Indeed, public policy has become one of my interests.'€
