he Jakarta Parks and Cemetery Agency will implement an online funeral payment system for public cemeteries in the capital by the end of 2015.
The system will enable residents to check empty spaces at cemeteries as well as make payments.
'We don't want to see anymore illegal levies for burials,' the agency's newly inaugurated head, Ratna Diah Kurniati, said as quoted by tribunnews.com on Monday.
She said the agency would install additional lighting for funerals and deploy personnel to patrol cemeteries, especially in the evening.
