Actress Catherine Wilson says she is determined to become a singer, brushing aside comments she is riding the wave of celebrities who have recently launched their own records.
'I have already had different jobs over my career in the entertainment industry. I've done modelling, become an actor for film, TV dramas and commercials as well as been a talk show host.
'But I haven't tried singing,' the cast member of Pesan dari Surga [Message from Heaven] was quoted as saying by tribunnews.com on Thursday.
Catherine, 34, said that producers and musicians have contacted her for collaboration.
'This kind of opportunity doesn't come twice, so I'm taking it regardless of what people think.'
She said that she had once released a single titled Kekasihku (My Love) in the early years of her career.
