ast Java provincial government said it would soon launch a feasibility study to develop the Greater Surabaya Light Rail Transit (LRT) system, which it has been working with the United Kingdom since last year.

Governor Khofifah Indar Parawansa met last week with Dominic Jermey, the British Ambassador to Indonesia and Timor-Leste, to discuss the study, which is being conducted by PwC and Mott MacDonald in 2024-2025.
