wenty-two Indonesian nationals remain unaccounted for following the massive fire that tore through the Wang Fuk Court housing complex in Hong Kong’s Tai Po district, the Foreign Ministry confirmed on Tuesday, as authorities race to identify victims amid widespread devastation.

The ministry estimates around 140 Indonesians were living in the high-rise complex, all of them migrant domestic workers. Nine have been confirmed dead, the figure unchanged since early this week, while 108 others have been located safely.

Three Indonesians were injured in the blaze; two have since recovered and one remains hospitalized.

“One victim is still being treated in hospital, and 108 survived [the incident],” the ministry stated in a statement, as reported by Antara.

The nine Indonesian fatalities are among at least 151 people killed in what local officials describe as Hong Kong’s deadliest fire in decades.
