ospital operator Mayapada Healthcare Group has sealed a partnership commitment from Singapore-based Changi General Hospital (CGH) for the provision of technical assistance for the former’s planned business expansion.
According to a memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed by the two organizations on Monday evening, CGH will assist Mayapada in its preparation to provide an additional 250 beds at its 450-bed hospital in Lebak Bulus, South Jakarta, by giving recommendations on, among other thing aspects, technology and medical equipment.
Mayapada Healthcare Group CEO Jonathan Tahir said CGH would also prepare training programs for Mayapada employees to improve service quality.
“The cooperation will boost the continual development of Mayapada, because Changi has a lot of experienced and skilled healthcare professionals,” Jonathan said.
CGH CEO Lee Chien Earn meanwhile said the sharing of expertise would be “mutually beneficial in enhancing quality”.
Apart from its South Jakarta hospital, Mayapada Healthcare Group operates another hospital in Tangerang, Banten, and two clinics at Central Park Mall in West Jakarta and Mayapada Tower in Central Jakarta. — JP/adt
