he second half of the Copa America semifinal between Chile and Colombia is being delayed by a strong band of thunderstorms passing through Chicago.
A line of storms rolled through the area about two hours before the game Wednesday night, but cleared out in plenty of time for the teams to play the first half. But organizers asked the crowd to seek shelter at halftime, and then lightning was followed by sheets of rain at the home of the NFL's Chicago Bears.
Chile led 2-0. It was unclear when the second half would begin.
The winner will face Argentina in the championship game Sunday in New Jersey.
