ctor Christian Sugiono hopes to play in more horror movies after landing his first role in Sabrina, a spinoff of The Doll and The Doll 2.

The 37-year-old is better known for his roles in romantic dramas and soap operas.

Christian said he would take into account the film’s production quality in choosing his next horror role.

“Many people say that the easiest way to make a movie is to make a horror film, because you can do it with a low budget and people will still watch it. But I don’t want to be part of that kind of movie,” he said as quoted by tribunnews.com on Monday.

The husband of actress Titi Kamal believes that a well-prepared film will always be successful and attract many viewers.

“I want [to play in] a horror movie that is taken seriously, with a budget that is pretty good because the results will look different,” he added.
