ingapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong has visited former first lady Ani Yudhoyono, who is being treated at the National University Hospital in Singapore for blood cancer.
Lee Hsien Loong, accompanied Deputy Prime Minister Teo Chee Hean and their wives, visited Ani at 11:45 a.m. on Friday.
According to a release made available for The Jakarta Post, the two Singaporean leaders met with former president Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono and his sons Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono and Edhie Baskoro Yudhoyono.
The VIP visitors got to see her from outside of her room and expressed wishes for her quick recovery.
After the visit, the visitors talked with former coordinating minister for economic affairs Hatta Rajasa and former Indonesian ambassador to the United States Dino Patti Djalal and proceeded to leave the hospital at around 12:30. (gis)
