View all search resultsintan Island is preparing to hold Ironman 70.3, a long-distance triathlon race organized by the World Triathlon Corporation slated for Aug. 21.
“The number of participants this year will be bigger than the previous year,” said PT Bintan Resort Cakrawala Group general manager Abdul Wahab.

In the race, the participants will undergo three different courses, namely a 1.9 kilometer swim, followed by a 90 kilometer bike ride and two laps of a 21 kilometer run.
Twenty winners, 10 males and 10 females, will be given the opportunity to take part in the 2018 IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship in South Africa. (kes)
