ndonesian pop star Anggun’s new single, “What We Remember”, has entered the Billboard Dance Club Songs chart (https://www.billboard.com/charts/dance-club-play-songs) in the 50th spot.

“What We Remember”, a pop-electro track with a touch of acoustic, is part of the singer-songwriter’s latest album, 8, released on Dec. 8 last year.

Anggun is not new to the Billboard charts, having seen her 1998 single “Snow on the Sahara” listed on three Billboard charts, namely Adult Pop Songs (#22), Dance Club Songs (#16) and Heatseekers Album (#23). According to tempo.co, Anggun was the first Indonesian-born musician to have made the charts.

“I feel so honored to be included on Billboard charts once again,” Anggun said.

“I know that many of my American fans have complained that I’ve been so far away for a long time,” Anggun continued. “I promise I’ll try to visit America in 2018.” (wir/kes)
