JAKARTA: Pop band Radja will launch its new album in April but fans can listen to their latest songs live during concerts starting this month.
"We will perform some of our new songs. Previously, we wanted to launch our new album in early March but, since there's this carnival event, we have to push back the plan until next month," the band's lead singer Ian Kasela told Antara.
He was referring to the Class Carnival SCTV 2008 music show, which is to be held in nine cities across the country starting March 14. The cities include Bandung in West Java, Denpasar in Bali, Medan in North Sumatra and Makassar in South Sulawesi.
Ian said he would take advantage of the carnival by introducing the new album, which includes songs "Jujur" (Honest) and "Tulus" (Sincere).
Other acts taking part in the carnival include Ada Band, Dewa 19, GIGI, Slank, The Rock, Ungu, Naff and Ari Lasso. -- JP
