JAKARTA: The city police's drugs directorate investigation team questioned three prosecutors suspected of selling confiscated drugs Friday morning.
The three prosecutors, Esther Tanak, Dara Veranita and Sofi Marisa, were escorted to the city police headquarters by Zainuddin, an officer from the Attorney General's Office, according to city police spokesman Adj. Sr. Comr. Chrysnanda Dwi Laksana.
The case started with the arrest of a police officer and a temporary officer from Pademangan Police: Adj. First. Insp. Irfan and Zaenanto. Police earlier this month seized 100 pills from Zaenanto and 200 from Irfan.
Irfan told investigators he received the pills from a prosecutor named Ester. - JP
