Titi, a wedding singer for Wulan and Adilla

JAKARTA: Actress-turned-singer Titi Kamal even wants to become a wedding singer to increase her ‘flying hours’ in singing.

Titi was appeared at the wedding ceremony of Wulan Guritno and Adilla Dimitri on Sunday night at the Jakarta Convention Center, singing her new hits Resah Tanpamu (Restless Without You) in a duet with the vocalist of band Drive, Anji.

“I’m so happy to be able to singing a song for Wulan and Dilla,” Titi said as quoted by detik.com on Monday.

Coming to the ceremony with her husband Christian Sugiono, Titi whose real name Kurniaty Kamalia looks happy and more confident with her singing skills.

“I’m not nervous anymore. This is also for my flying hours,” said the woman who just released her debut album Lebih Baik Sendiri (Better Alone) in Feb. 20.

Titi gained her popularity through her role in film Mendadak Dangdut (Suddenly Dangdut) where she also singing. She also played in the film Eiffel I’m in Love, and starred in the movie directed by Hanung Bramantyo of Ayat-Ayat Cinta (Love Verses).

Titi Kamal and actor Christian Sugiono got married in Sidney, Australia few months ago and

have planned to hold another wedding celebration in Jakarta on May 2009. –JP
