Plaza Indonesia To kick off the holiday season, Plaza Indonesia is organizing educational as well as entertaining events for the youngsters

Plaza Indonesia

To kick off the holiday season, Plaza Indonesia is organizing educational as well as entertaining events for the youngsters.

To raise environmental awareness among young children, a climate change exhibition will be held between June 15 and 21 on Atrium Plaza Indonesia's fourth floor.

Others events include food tasting and a bazaar for culinary lovers, with six food stalls and five food outlets in the same area, from June 25 to 27.

Youngsters who love dancing will be able to join break dance championships on June 27 at 7 p.m. at the Atrium City Hall Entertainment X'ntre (eX).

In another part of Plaza Indonesia, the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) NGO will hold an exhibition titled "Save the Sea Turtles" on June 19 from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. The Miniapolis food festival will also be held from June 29 until July 12.

Grand Indonesia shopping townb The largest upmarket shopping center in Southeast Asia - with over 250,000 square meters of retail space - will be presenting a multimedia show called Ben 10 from June 27 until July 12 in Grand Indonesia's East Mall.

Grand Indonesia is made up of two main buildings, the West and East Mall, which are linked by a multi-level bridge.

Ben 10 is one of the most popular American animated television series in Indonesia. When Ben and his family left for their summer camp trip, the boy's life changed when he found a watch-like device called Omnitrix, allowing him to transform into a variety of alien life forms.

A meet and greet, as well as photo sessions with Ben's 10 characters will be held on weekdays between 4 and 5:30 p.m., three times a day, at 2 p.m., 4 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.

The event features Ben 10 and two monsters, Four Arms and Wildmutt. Visitors can watch the back stage multimedia live screen and take part in a drawing and coloring competition, as well as games throughout the session.

Ben 10 and other cartoon network products will be for sale at a bazaar in the event.

In cooperation with Alun Alun Indonesia, Indie bands like Morning Blue and Everybody Loves Irene, will also join in the festive holiday spirit at Grand Indonesia.

Senayan City

Have you ever seen SpongeBob wearing batik clothing? Senayan City, in cooperation with Alur Batik, will entertain holidaymakers with the cartoon character wearing the traditional Indonesian clothes.

To celebrate SpongeBob's 10th anniversary, Senayan City will hold the "Think Happy" event, for the whole month, featuring a meet and greet with the main characters from TV series SpongeBob SquarePants, from June 19 until July 19, at Senayan City's Atrium.

SpongeBob, a sea sponge living in a pineapple under the sea, is the main character of American animated television series SpongeBob SquarePants. The movie is one of Nicktoons Network's most watched shows broadcast around the world.

Visitors will have the opportunity to buy celebrity items during midnight garage sales held over three days from June 19 to 21.

Summarecon Mall

The Summarecon Serpong Mall is inviting families to its "The Cars Fast and Fabulous" car-themed event, centered around Disney/Pixar's Cars movie, running from June 19 to July 20.

Disney/Pixar's Cars is a 2006 American animated feature film featuring anthropomorphic cars, which won the Golden Globe Award for Best Animated Feature Film.

There will also be a children's fashion show featuring clothes with a Cars theme and a Cars puppet show.

Music lovers are also invited to watch local bands performances on Sundays, including Vierra on June 21, Naif on June 28, Vidi Aldiano on July 5, and Gruvi on July 19.

A creative helmet design competition will also be held between July 12 and July 20.

There will be various activities and games featuring the funny car characters, such as Chick Hicks and Lightning Mc Queen.

Children can take part in various games on stage and video game competitions, drawing and coloring competitions, as well as Lightning McQueen's sticker competitions.

The Farmers market, which opened a space at the mall, will also celebrate its second anniversary on July 25 and 26 and hold drawing and coloring competitions, as well as cup cake design competitions.

Twenty children will have a rare chance to sing with Joy Tobing, the runner-up in the first Indonesian Idol on July 26. There will be a two-week rehearsal before the event, led by Joy herself.

People can join this event by spending at least Rp 500,000 between June 25 and July 20 at the Farmers Market.
