AKARTA: Singer Agnes Monica is one of the nominees in the Worldwide Acts — Asia Pacific Nominees category at the 2011 MTV Europe Music Awards.
According to the MTV awards website, Agnes is included in the category along with Korea’s Big Bang, Taiwan’s Jay Chou and Australia’s Gotye.
“Agnes is now in the process of working on an English-language studio album in London and Los Angeles, which will feature artists such as Elton John and Eva Cassidy,” the website said.
Fans of the nominated artists can vote for their favorites on the website.
