AKARTA: Miss Indonesia 2011’s mother says her former husband disowned their daughter when the latter was a child.
Linda Indriana Campbell, the mother of Miss Indonesia Astrid Ellena, said she filed for divorce from Astrid’s father when Astrid was three years old.
Astrid’s father, Fredrich Yunadi, had been abusive and has not supported them financially since then, she said.
“I have been living in the United States for the last seven years. I paid for Elena’s schooling until she graduated from high school in the US,” Linda said last week as quoted by kompas.com.
