IMO view: A better way of studying

A

ll people have their own ways to study. There are those who like studying alone and those who prefer studying in groups. I myself believe that studying in a group is more helpful than studying alone. I have two underlying reasons why.

First, studying in group can reduce your drowsiness. We tend to be bored and drowsiness usually comes while we are studying alone. Moreover, if we learn uninteresting or difficult lessons such as mathematics, physics, chemistry and so forth, it can be worse. On the contrary, if we study in group, we have friends that make us active in learning. Also, in a group there are many chances to talk each other to divert our boredom. As a result, the learning process will be more interesting.

Second, a group is a forum in which to ask questions. Even though studying alone makes us focus on what we must learn, it is difficult to ask if we have a problem. On the other hand, while studying in group, we have many opportunities to ask questions and our friends can correct our mistakes as well.

Besides that, we can often solve problems that previously could not be solved alone. Our friends’ ideas can be used to finish exercises. Each person has a different understanding and different level of creativity. We can share ideas and solve all of the problems easily.

This is why studying in a group is better and more useful than studying alone.
