resident Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono officiatedat the commencement ceremony of 1,459 students at Institute of PublicAdministration (IPDN) in Jatinangor, West Java,on Wednesday.
They were 1,261 diploma graduates, 198 undergraduates and 82 master's degree students, tempo.co reported on Wednesday.
Ardi Kusmono, a diploma IV program student, secured the best GPA with 3.819 while Ayu Ika Sulistyaningrum, from Nganjuk regency, East Java, got 3,815 in the undergraduate program. Master program student Alfian Lewenusa from Maluku got 3.88 GPA.
IPDN graduates usually find work at state institutions.
IPDN has often been in the news for incidents of violence between its students.(dic)
