our comments on the fatal traffic incident that killed six people and involved a 13-year-old boy behind the wheel of one of the vehicles:

He is 13 years old and has no license. Six people are dead. That'€™s really bad.

Johnny

Charge the father with criminal neglect for allowing a 13-year-old to drive the car.

What? A 13-year old drove the car?

Honestly, his parents  are stupid, allowing their son to drive the car.

This is the impact of giving freedom without limitation and tight control from parents.

Students drive to school, why? It is because the minister does not provide any school buses.

Joni Susanto

Charge the father with negligence for his part in allowing his boy to drive at such a young age. How about five years for every casualty and fine of Rp 50 million per casualty. And charge the boy with 10 years in jail for this stupidity.

Julius Pangestu

Ahmad Dani prepares prison or grave for his sons. How can he let his son drive a car at night, alone? It just shows how irresponsible he is.

In America or developed countries such an incident would be the responsibility of those who facilitate it.

It is a very '€œgood'€ and expensive lesson not only for Dhani but also for the wealthy and high-rank officials who are too busy collecting wealth and let their children do whatever they want.

They forget that the result of their negligence can endanger other people, even claiming lives.

If I give my three-year-old son a knife to play with, and he accidentally cuts his sister'€™s arm open, can he really be blamed for the injury? As the parent, it'€™s my fault for giving him the dangerous knife to play with in the first place, correct?

Does giving the keys to a car and permission to drive it, to a 13-year-old boy, not constitute gross neglect? Putting adult expectations on the shoulders of a child whose brain has yet to fully develop is nothing short of child abuse.

And an offer of Rp 25 million each as restitution for those who lost their lives? I have no words. Is that the going rate for a life stolen these days? I hope Ahmad Dhani goes to jail.

This horrible accident, caused by a 13-year-old boy, has already caused six families to lose their beloved sons, husbands and fathers, men who were also the breadwinners and financial mainstays of their families.

Those of us who were deeply moved to witness, on the local TV stations, the heart-rending, immense grief of the families.

It is not only the parents who are at fault for allowing their three sons to grow up as spoiled boys.

The local news media, especially TV stations, are also very much to blame for their trashy taste in the material they show.

Many of us, before we became so disgusted that we switched channels, have seen the series Al, El and Dul on local TV, in which the exceptionally lavish and luxurious lifestyles of these boys and their parents were described and revealed in stomach-turning detail.

Low-cost '€œgreen'€ cars with prices ranging from Rp 77 million (US$6,608) hit the market this week. They will significantly increase the number of cars on the already congested streets of big cities like Jakarta. What do you think?
