YOGYAKARTA: Miss Universe Maria Gabriela Isler enjoyed visiting Indonesia, including the opportunity to bake bakpia cookies.
'I'm happy because I was allowed to see and learn about Indonesian culture myself,' said the Venezuelan as quoted by kapanlagi.com.
In Yogyakarta, for example, Isler said that she was given chance to bake the city's famous cookie, bakpia, and to wear batik.
The beauty queen said that she also visited the Prambanan and Borobudur temples in nearby Central Java.
Isler was accompanied on her journey by newly-crowned Putri Indonesia 2014 Elvira Devinamira Wirayanti.
