he Indonesian Embassy in Malaysia has confirmed that therewere only seven Indonesian passengers on board the Malaysian Airlines missingplane, not 12 as widely reported earlier.
'We have just received a letter from our embassy there confirming the number of Indonesian passengers on board. There were seven passengers and not 12 as earlier reported,' Director of Indonesian Protection of the Foreign Affairs Ministry Tatang Razak said on Saturday as quoted by kompas.com.
Tatang said he had received the names of the passengers but would not release them until they had been confirmed.(dic)
