After going 12 years without releasing an album, rapper Iwa K has finally released a new one entitled Living in the Fastlane.

Last weekend, Iwa performed at the an NBL Indonesia basketball game at C-tra Arena sports hall in Bandung, West Java, to perform the entirety of his new mini album, which consists of five new songs and a remake of his basketball-themed hit '€œNombok Dong'€ (Dunk!).

'€œI greeted the basketball fans and used the occasion to promote the mini album,'€ he told kompas.com in Jakarta. The mini album'€™s lead track '€œLiving in the Fastlane'€ is now the theme song for NBL Indonesia.

Iwa is considered a pioneer in the Indonesian rap scene after being the first local rapper to release a full-length album, entitled Kuingin Kembali (I Want to Return), in the mainstream music market in 1993.
