Indonesian veteran guitarist Ian Antono has just released his first solo album, entitled Ian Antono Song Book I: Sebuah Babak Baru (Ian Antono Song Book I: A New Chapter), to mark his 45th year in the music industry.

'€œMy main aim [in releasing the album] isn'€™t about [being a] solo [artist], or showing off my skills [in playing an instrument]. I simply want to gather my songs, so they won'€™t be scattered, on an album,'€ Ian said as quoted by kompas.com.

Ian, 63, who has been a member of the country'€™s legendary rock band, God Bless, since 1975, is considered a productive musician and songwriter with a substantial discography.

On his solo album, Ian includes his old hits and some new songs.
