Years of calamity Years of calamity: Statues, called "Survivors" created by artist Dadang Christanto, are erected at the site that has been overwhelmed by mud oozing from a mud volcano, in Porong, East Java, on Thursday. The statues were installed to commemorate the 8th year since the mud volcano began erupting which some scientists blamed on oil and gas exploration company Lapindo that was drilling near the source.
