The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) weakened significantly by 0.92 percent to 5,163.86 in Friday's final trading session.
Shares in seven out of 10 sectors traded on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) dropped in the afternoon with finance recording the biggest fall, decreasing by 1.66 percent, kontan.co.id reported.
Consumer products and manufacturing fell 1.5 percent and 1.34 percent, respectively.
The LQ45 index's biggest losers by 4 p.m. on Friday were PT Equity Development Investment (GSMF), PT Pool Advista Indonesia (POOL) and PT Pelangi Indah Canindo (PICO).
Meanwhile, PT First Media (KBLV), PT Roda Vivatex (RDTX) and PT Indo Straits (PTIS) were the index's highest gainers. (nfo)
