AKARTA: Actor and presenter Raffi Ahmad has married actress Nagita '€œGigi'€ Slavina in a highly publicized event '€” which included a day-long TV broadcast and minute-by-minute online updates '€” at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Jakarta.

The wedding ceremony (akad nikah) was attended by noted cleric Quraish Shihab, Bandung Mayor Ridwan Kamil and State-Owned Enterprises Minister Dahlan Iskan. As reported by detik.com, Raffi was all smiles after saying his wedding vows and was cheered and applauded by the invitees.

The 27-year-old actor and the 26-year-old actress have known each other since their high school years, but they have only been in a relationship since earlier this year.
