AKARTA: Author Dewi '€œDee'€ Lestari, says she is very satisfied with the adaptation of her immensely popular book Supernova.

Dee said that the film'€™s director, Rizal Mantovani, and his team had done a great job in bringing her story to life on screen.

'€œWhen I saw the result, I was very satisfied with it. I can imagine all the hard work needed to make the film,'€ Dee said, as quoted by tribunnews.com.

The author, who has had several works shortlisted for the Khatulistiwa literary awards, said that she had entrusted everything to Rizal from the start.

'€œI realized that film and the novel are different, and they'€™ve worked brilliantly to make the film, which has taken about eight years,'€ Dee said.
