AKARTA: Author Dewi 'Dee' Lestari, says she is very satisfied with the adaptation of her immensely popular book Supernova.
Dee said that the film's director, Rizal Mantovani, and his team had done a great job in bringing her story to life on screen.
'When I saw the result, I was very satisfied with it. I can imagine all the hard work needed to make the film,' Dee said, as quoted by tribunnews.com.
The author, who has had several works shortlisted for the Khatulistiwa literary awards, said that she had entrusted everything to Rizal from the start.
'I realized that film and the novel are different, and they've worked brilliantly to make the film, which has taken about eight years,' Dee said.
