AKARTA: Although Shanty quit the Indonesian music industry after she moved to Hong Kong in 2010, the mother of two says she still likes to perform once in a while.

'€œI come to Jakarta and perform here not for a comeback, but because I sometimes miss singing,'€ Shanty said, as quoted by kapanlagi.com after a recent charity concert. '€œI still need it to ease my mind.'€

The 35-year-old said that she had no plans to release a new single. '€œI don'€™t have any new songs, because I'€™m currently living in Hong Kong and it'€™s hard to do it there.'€

Shanty, who got her start as an MTV VJ, rose to fame with her self-titled debut album in 2000.
