ndonesia'€™s tallest model, Paula Verhoeven, says she knows full well that gadgets are important. However, after losing several smartphones, Paula said that it is better to hold on tightly to her gadgets - and let go lightly when they vanish.

'€œI used to get very stressed when I lost my phones. I felt like there was something missing in me. I'€™ve tried not to be greatly attached to them anymore, so I won'€™t have to feel the craziness if I lose another phone again,'€ the statuesque beauty said.

To reduce her dependency on gadgets that might go missing, the 182-centimeter-tall woman says she enters her schedule on her phone - and writes it down.

'€œI like writing my schedule on an agenda too,'€ the 27-year-old said. '€œI now rely a lot on it, because I sometimes miss a commitment if I only put it in my phone.'€

Born in Semarang, Central Java, Paula started her modeling career as the finalist of a beauty pageant organized by girls'€™ magazine Gadis, winning the 2003 Elite Model Look contest and finishing fourth in the 2006 Abang None beauty pageant.

The alumni of the London School of Public Relations then moved to Singapore to join Upfront Models Singapore, going back and forth between the Lion City and Jakarta.

Smartphones
I have two smartphones: an iPhone 5 and a BlackBerry Q10. I use the BlackBerry only for work, because many of my client contacts are there. While for my iPhone, it becomes my best friend to kill boredom when I have to wait backstage before fashion shows.

It is a 64-gigabyte iPhone 5, so I'€™ve put hundreds of songs on it. I like taking pictures with it because the quality of the camera is very good. I used to bring a Panasonic Lumix camera wherever I went, but since I had an iPhone 5, I left it at home. As I already have two phones, it would be troublesome if I also brought a camera.

Health and fitness applications
As a model, it'€™s important to keep my body in good shape. To keep track of my exercise, I use several health and fitness applications, such as Move and TRX Force. I use Walk when I do my walking exercises to count calories that I have burned.

I also like to eat healthy food, so I follow many healthy food accounts on my Instagram to get the latest tips on how to prepare food.

Dictionary apps
I like traveling, and I find these applications very useful when I travel to non-English speaking countries. I sometimes rely on it to translate foreign words into English.
