AKARTA: Syaharani says that she loves spending time on mountains, beaches or villages to escape the stress of life in the big city.

'€œTo recharge my energy, I need to see nature or meet new people,'€ the jazz siren said as quoted by tempo.co in Jakarta.

Growing up in the Batu highlands in Malang, East Java, Syaharani said she loved the outdoors. '€œI used to eat lunch all by myself on the hill, enjoying the view,'€ the 43-year-old said. '€œI still do that until today.'€

However, Syaharani says that three weeks are about as long as she can get away from Queen Firework, her jazz group. '€œI can'€™t leave the band any longer than that,'€ she said.
